Build

The Left Door Sill Liner

Step 01

Fit one of the Door Switches to this matching square hole on the Left Door Sill Liner.

You can use either switch here – they are both the same. The orientation of the unconnected pin on the switch doesn’t matter either:

Fit the Door Switch Bracket on top of the switch (and covering the two posts), and secure it down with two (2) HP screws.

The flat surface of the Door Switch Bracket should be facing away from the switch:

Step 02

Retrieve your Body assembly from the previous phase and carefully turn it upside down. Fit this Left Door Sill Liner into place at the left door, as shown.

As always, I recommend taping the doors closed to protect the hinges when turning this body over:

Also, make sure this pin of the Left Door Sill Liner fits into the matching hole of the Front Roof Liner:

Secure the Left Door Sill Liner into place with two (2) CM screws.

This is your friendly reminder to try using 3-in-One Oil on all screws going into metal:

There is a pin on the bottom of the Left Door Inner Panel that should push on this switch when the door is closed:

Thoughts

I love that this door sill already has the chrome handle and lock base pre-installed. That means less fiddly things for us!
