The Rear Window

NOTE: Eaglemoss recommends wearing gloves while installing these clear parts to avoid leaving fingerprints.

Step 01

Retrieve your Roof assembly from the previous phase. Fit the two tabs along the top edge of the Rear Window over the matching screw holes inside the rear top edge of the Roof assembly, as shown.

These two rounded mounting tabs kind of snap under the roof and over the posts of the screw holes, aligning the window perfectly:

Secure the Rear Window to the Roof from the interior with two (2) CM screws. Do not over-tighten these screws, it can crack the plastic.

This is your friendly reminder to try using 3-in-One Oil on all screws going into metal:

We can still store and protect this assembly in the shipping clamshell, it just doesn’t fit as well:

Thoughts

Another simple phase to complete. I am looking forward to seeing this Roof mounted on the body.
