Materials: The anchor frames are plastic, but the straps are PVC vinyl and metal.
Build
The Suitcase Straps
Step 01
Slide the loops of the ‘non-buckle’ end of the Suitcase Retaining Straps along the Suitcase Rear Anchor Frame, as shown. Make sure you take care when passing the loops over the support clips (circled below) so as to not damage them:
Step 02
Carefully pass the Suitcase Front Anchor Frame through the loops of the ‘buckle’ ends of the two Suitcase Retaining Straps, as shown:
Step 03
Retrieve your Main Chassis assembly. Push the pin on the left end of the Suitcase Front Anchor Frame into this matching hole of the Luggage Compartment Outer Panel, as shown:
Then, push the pin on the right end of the Suitcase Front Anchor Frame into this matching hole of the Luggage Compartment Outer Panel, as shown:
Finally, push the pin in the center of the Suitcase Front Anchor Frame into this matching hole of the Floor Pan, as shown:
Thoughts
We will receive the suitcases in the next two phases and they are placed under these straps, so the Suitcase Rear Anchor Frame is not attached just yet. These luggage straps are pre-assembled for us, which is nice!
