Completing the Firewall
Step 01
Retrieve your Firewall assembly from the previous phase. Fit the post of the Electrical Relay to this back hole of the Firewall, as shown.
You may notice that I used my Metallic Silver Sharpie to give this a little color on the ‘dots’:
Secure this Electrical Relay into place from behind with one (1) DP screw:
Step 02
Fit the post and pin of the Fuse Box to this location on the Firewall.
I also used my Metallic Silver Sharpie here to give this part a bit more contrast on the ‘knob’:
Secure this into place from behind with one (1) IP screw:
Step 03
Fit the large keyed end of Firewall Right Hose A into this matching socket of the Firewall, as shown:
Secure this hose into place from behind with one (1) DP screw:
Step 04
Secure the loop end of Firewall Right Hose B to this location on the Firewall as shown, and secure with one (1) CM screw.
This is your friendly reminder to try using 3-in-One Oil on all screws going into metal:
Fit the free end of Firewall Right Hose B into this hole at the back of the Firewall (under the Fuse Box):
Step 05
Slide the Windshield Washer Tank down into the Windshield Washer Tank Bracket as shown:
Secure this Windshield Washer Tank assembly to the Firewall in this location with two (2) CM screws.
This tank can installed either way around, it doesn’t seem to matter:
Step 06
Push the thin end of the Windshield Washer Hose into the center top hole of the Windshield Washer Tank:
Fit the keyed post on the other end of the Windshield Washer Hose into this matching hole at the back of the Firewall:
Secure this Windshield Washer Hose into place from behind with one (1) IP screw:
Step 07
Secure the loop end of Firewall Right Hose C to this location on the Firewall as shown, with one (1) CM screw.
The free end of this hose should run behind the Windshield Washer Tank assembly:
Fit the free end of Firewall Right Hose C into this hole in the back of the Firewall:
Thoughts
I thought I was going to need tweezers for this phase, but it actually went together pretty well without them.
