The Ignition and Headlight Relays

Step 01

Retrieve your Firewall assembly from the previous phase. Fit the keyed post of the Ignition Relay into this matching hole of the Firewall:

Secure this into place from behind with one (1) IP screw:

Step 02

Press the post of the Ignition Coil Top into the Ignition Coil Bottom as shown, aligning the two locating pins into the matching holes.

How great is the printed detail on these parts!?

Fit the keyed base of this Ignition Coil assembly into this matching hole of the Firewall:

Secure this into place from below with one (1) IP screw:

Step 03

Secure the loop end of the Firewall Left Hose A to this location of the Firewall with one (1) CM screw, as shown.

Since this screw is driving into metal, I recommend a little drop of 3-in-Oil on the tip:

Step 04

Secure the square end of the Wiring Harness to this hole of the Firewall as shown, with one (1) HP screw from below.

The wires at the other end of this Wiring Harness should be facing down. I also removed the Ignition Coil assembly for this step to make the pictures easier to understand:

Push the two wires at the other end of the Wiring Harness down into these holes of the Firewall:

Step 05

Fit the keyed post of the Headlight Relay to this matching hole in the Firewall:

Secure this relay into place from below with one (1) DP screw:
